Abidi Alborz Project

The Abidi Pharmaceutical Factory, located in the Barkat Pharmaceutical Industrial Zone, is one of the largest and most advanced pharmaceutical sites in the Middle East. Designed and constructed with international standards, the project covers over 45,000 square meters and is planned with a production capacity of more than 350 million medicine boxes annually.

As the documentary filmmaker of this project, I have been capturing its development—from structural works to installation of state-of-the-art equipment—highlighting its strategic role in strengthening Iran’s pharmaceutical industry and reducing dependency on imports.

This modern villa, designed by Makan Architects, is a remarkable example of contemporary architecture with a minimalist and geometric approach. The interplay of pure cubic volumes and transparent glass surfaces creates a seamless connection between the interior and exterior spaces. Wide openings and expansive views toward the garden and reflecting pool enhance the dialogue between nature and architecture.

Lighting plays a key role in the project; at dusk and during the night, the illuminated interior glows like a canvas framed within the concrete structure, with its reflection doubling the effect across the water. The interior design adheres to the same principles of simplicity and purity, emphasizing space, light, and connection with the surrounding landscape.

This villa is not only a residential space but also a statement of contemporary Iranian architecture, a language that merges pure modernism with sensitivity to context and environmental aesthetics.

Chahar Khooneh by SEFI Properties

Chahar Khooneh — Seaside Villas Inspired by Cycladic Architecture
Set along the Caspian coast in Royan, Chahar Khooneh is an exclusive residential complex of four private villas that reinterpret the simplicity and charm of Cycladic design. Clean white volumes, generous terraces, and carefully framed openings invite natural light and sea breezes into every corner.

Each villa, with a spacious layout of 700–950 m², has been crafted for a refined yet relaxed lifestyle. Residents enjoy private gardens, outdoor pools, and roof terraces with fireplaces overlooking the sea.
