Tashmir Villa by Next Office (Alireza Taghaboni)
Tashmir Villa, designed by Alireza Taghaboni, redefines the boundary between architecture, nature, and everyday living. Through a thoughtful composition of modern volumes and natural materials, the project creates a space that is at once minimal, intimate, and responsive to its climate.
Transparency and wide openings play a central role in the design; the spaces are arranged so that natural light and surrounding views become inseparable elements of daily life. The interplay of concrete, wood, and glass generates a balance between solidity and warmth, resulting in both comfort and character.
More than just a residence, Tashmir Villa represents Taghaboniās contemporary vision of architectureāan approach where form, function, and beauty coexist in harmony to provide a truly unique living experience.
Abidi Alborz Project
The Abidi Pharmaceutical Factory, located in the Barkat Pharmaceutical Industrial Zone, is one of the largest and most advanced pharmaceutical sites in the Middle East. Designed and constructed with international standards, the project covers over 45,000 square meters and is planned with a production capacity of more than 350 million medicine boxes annually.
As the documentary filmmaker of this project, I have been capturing its developmentāfrom structural works to installation of state-of-the-art equipmentāhighlighting its strategic role in strengthening Iranās pharmaceutical industry and reducing dependency on imports.
Bldg. 224 by Shab Office
Located in Kish Island, this modern building stands out with its innovative faƧade design and contemporary architectural language. The perforated grid not only gives the structure a unique identity but also regulates light, ventilation, and privacy, making it both functional and visually striking. Capturing this project was an opportunity to showcase how modern architecture can redefine urban presence in one of Iranās most dynamic coastal cities.
Knots by Reza Daneshmir
The Knots project by Reza Daneshmir is a poetic narrative of architecture as a fluid and intertwined form. Inspired by the natural complexity of knots and twists, the building brings together form and function in a single continuous expression. Its flowing lines and curves create a dynamic and vibrant presence that is not only visually striking but also defines the diverse functions of the interior spaces.
In this work, architecture resembles a monumental sculptureāan entity that is at once artistic and functional, demonstrating how architectural language can be used to convey deeper concepts. Knots stands as a symbol of creativity and boldness in contemporary Iranian architecture, where design transcends conventional boundaries and transforms into a unique experience for its audience.
